Okay maybe not a secretary, given that she is showing off her pantyhosed legs in a kitchen. Or it’s maybe a fancy office, with coffee and lunch perks for the employees? I worked at a place like that once. Want to see lots of women in hosiery bitch about their lives? Go work at a place like that.

I mean, here they are, during lunch time, making four times what I made as a lowly temp, and they’re complaining about everything under the sun, from their salaries to cheating boys to how much American Idol sucked last night.

Many companies have a business dress policy, at least here in the city. Wearing hosiery isn’t always spelled out per se in the employee manuals but what other options does a girl have? Pant suits? Maybe.

Personally I go for pretty much what the girl in the picture here is wearing. Unless it’s “one of those days” … (Oh TMI I know, sorry LOL)

I don’t know…I always thought pantyhose, socks, and sneakers don’t go together. It’s like driving a Ferrari with mirror dice and scent trees hanging from the rearview mirror - ta-ckyyyyy!

When I traveled around Europe many moons ago I actually saw pantyhose with socks and sneakers be worn as kind of like a trend, especially in some of the larger Eastern European cities like Prague.

Girls would go out, day or night, wearing sheer hosiery and sneakers. And socks. Luckily this trend doesn’t seem to have caught on much in the US. 

But then again, I can see wearing pantyhose and sneakers be quite comfy.

It’s often a trade off for us women, go the comfortable route or the good looking route? I guess it depends on her age or profession but often times the “good looking” route wins. Unless it’s Saturday morning and we’re running to the store, then screw all the fashion and good looks stuff LOL
